The drive-through food pantry operates every other month, providing a convenient and safe way for families to receive essential food items without leaving their vehicles. Volunteers and CIS staff work together to distribute a variety of nutritious groceries, including fresh produce, dairy products, proteins, and pantry staples.

The food pantry is a vital resource for families facing food insecurity. By offering this service, CIS helps to:

  • Alleviate Hunger: Ensures that families have access to healthy meals, which is crucial for children's development and academic success.
  • Reduce Stress: Provides much-needed relief to families struggling with financial challenges, allowing them to focus on other aspects of life and education.
  • Foster Community: Strengthens the sense of community by bringing people together and fostering a supportive network.

The food pantry is open to all families in need, with no extensive eligibility requirements. CIS aims to make the process as inclusive and straightforward as possible, ensuring that help is readily available to anyone who needs it.
