Our Programs
We provide integrative student support services to propel students' academic and personal growth. From mentorship and tutoring to family engagement and basic needs assistance, we're dedicated to empowering every student to succeed.
This program helps ensure that students have access to nutritious food when school meals are unavailable.
Each week, participating students receive a discreet bag filled with kid-friendly, shelf-stable food items to help bridge the gap over weekends.
By reducing food insecurity, the program supports students' health, well-being, and ability to come to school ready to learn.

Our Classroom Pantry Program provides students with immediate access to nutritious, kid-friendly snacks and shelf-stable food items throughout the school day.
Stocked in our Support Specialists classrooms, these pantries help meet basic needs when students arrive hungry, miss meals, or need extra support.
By ensuring students have access to food when they need it most, the program helps improve focus, behavior, attendance, and overall readiness to learn.

Our Family Food Pantry provides supplemental food assistance to students and families facing food insecurity.
Located at our main office, the pantry offers a variety of shelf-stable foods, household essentials, and other available resources to help families meet their basic needs.
By reducing barriers at home, the pantry helps create greater stability so students can focus on learning and thriving both in and out of the classroom.

All Thomasville City Schools students, families, and staff are welcome to use our pantry once per month to supplement your needs!
In our Tutoring Program, community volunteers are paired with teachers at one of our four Thomasville City Schools to provide personalized academic support to enhance learning and boost confidence.
Our dedicated tutors work collaboratively with students, addressing individual needs and helping them excel in their studies, fostering a foundation for lifelong learning and success.

The Paths Program, an acronym for Parents and Teachers Helping Students, creates a welcoming environment for adult family members to share their concerns, ask questions about school-related issues, and discuss their child's progress.
Through the Paths Program, participants can connect with fellow parents from diverse backgrounds, fostering a sense of community and mutual support. Join us in strengthening the partnership between home and school, ensuring every student's success.
PATHS PROGRAM
Our Mentorship Program, exclusive to students of Thomasville Middle School, pairs caring adults with students who seek support and encouragement.
Through weekly meetings, this initiative fosters positive relationships, providing a dedicated space for mentorship that empowers students to navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve their full potential.
